We provide accurate, compliant, and straightforward tax services for individuals and businesses — with support available year-round, not just during tax season.
Individual Taxes
Federal income tax returns are generally due April 15 each year. If the due date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the deadline is extended to the next business day.
If you are expecting a refund, you can easily check the status of your return online once it has been filed.
If you filed for an extension, your deadline to submit your tax return is typically October 15. Please note that an extension gives you additional time to file, not additional time to pay. Any taxes owed should be paid by the original filing deadline to avoid interest and penalties.
We also assist with IRS notices, payment options, and tax-related questions, including government relief programs when applicable.
What Is a Not-For-Profit?
A not-for-profit organization is an entity that operates to serve a public or community purpose rather than to generate profit for owners or shareholders. Any income earned or donations received are reinvested into advancing the organization’s mission and supporting its ongoing operations.
Not-for-profit organizations commonly include charities, foundations, educational institutions, religious organizations, and other public service groups.
How to Start a Not-For-Profit
Starting a not-for-profit organization begins with identifying a specific need or mission. The process typically includes researching the idea, developing a clear business plan, and outlining the organization’s goals, programs, and funding strategy.
Proper formation, tax compliance, and reporting are critical to maintaining not-for-profit status. We can assist with entity setup, required filings, and ongoing tax and compliance support to help your organization operate smoothly and remain in good standing.
Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR)
If you have a financial interest in, or signature authority over, one or more foreign financial accounts—such as a bank account, brokerage account, mutual fund, trust, or other foreign financial account—you may be required to file an FBAR.
The FBAR is filed electronically using FinCEN Form 114 (formerly TD F 90-22.1) and is submitted through the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), not with your tax return.
Who Must File an FBAR?
U.S. taxpayers are required to file an FBAR if both of the following conditions apply:
- You have a financial interest in or signature authority over at least one financial account located outside of the United States, and
- The combined value of all foreign financial accounts exceeds $10,000 at any time during the calendar year.
Who Is Considered a U.S. Person?
A U.S. person includes:
- U.S. citizens
- U.S. residents
- Entities such as corporations, partnerships, or limited liability companies created or organized in the United States
- Trusts or estates formed under U.S. law
Failure to file an FBAR when required can result in significant penalties, even if no tax is owed. We can help determine whether you are required to file and assist with accurate and timely FBAR reporting.
Corporate Taxes
Corporations are business entities that are legally separate from their owners. We specialize in helping clients form all types of corporations and guide them through the process from start to finish.
If you already have a corporation and are looking for an experienced accountant to professionally manage your business needs—corporate tax returns, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll—we’re here to help.
For most corporations, the federal corporate tax return is generally due March 15 each year. If the due date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the deadline moves to the next business day.
If you file for an extension, the deadline to submit your corporate tax return is typically September 15. Please note that an extension provides additional time to file, not additional time to pay. Any taxes owed should be paid by the original deadline to avoid interest and penalties.

What Is Sales Tax?
Sales tax is a consumption tax imposed by state and local governments on the sale of certain goods and services. It is calculated as a percentage of the purchase price and is collected at the point of sale.
The amount of sales tax you pay depends on the location of the transaction, as tax rates and rules vary by state, county, and city. Businesses are responsible for collecting sales tax from customers and remitting it to the appropriate tax authorities.
ITIN – Individual Taxpayer Identification Number
Why Do You Need an ITIN?
An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is issued by the IRS for individuals who are required to file a U.S. tax return but do not qualify for a Social Security Number (SSN).
If you are working, earning income, or otherwise required to file taxes in the United States and are not eligible for an SSN, you should apply for an ITIN.
How Do You Apply for an ITIN?
To obtain an ITIN, you must submit IRS Form W-7 along with your federal income tax return, unless you qualify for an IRS exception.
What Documents Do You Need?
You must provide either:
- A valid passport, or
- Two of the following supporting documents:
Accepted documents include:
- National Identification Document
(Must be current and include name, photograph, address, date of birth, and expiration date) - U.S. driver’s license

Estate Tax
The estate tax is a tax on the transfer of property at death. It is based on the total value of everything you own—or have certain interests in—at the time of death, including real estate, financial accounts, investments, and other assets.
Estate tax rules can be complex, and proper planning can help minimize tax exposure and ensure your assets are distributed according to your wishes.
Gift Tax
If you give money or property to someone during your lifetime, you may be subject to federal gift tax rules.
The IRS allows an annual gift tax exclusion, which lets you give up to $19,000 per recipient per year without triggering gift tax or requiring a gift tax return. You may give gifts to multiple individuals, as long as each recipient does not receive more than the annual exclusion amount for that year.
Married couples may combine their exclusions, allowing gifts of up to $38,000 per recipient in a single year without gift tax reporting.
Gifts that exceed the annual exclusion may require filing a gift tax return and may count toward your lifetime gift and estate tax exemption. Most taxpayers do not owe gift tax unless their lifetime gifts exceed the federal exemption amount.
We can help you understand current limits, reporting requirements, and tax-efficient gifting strategies.

Important ITIN Information
Under IRS rules, an ITIN may expire if it has not been used on a federal tax return for a required period of time or if the IRS announces expiration based on specific digit ranges. Expired ITINs can delay tax refunds and affect filing status.
Because ITIN expiration rules and affected number ranges change periodically, we strongly recommend reviewing your ITIN status before filing your tax return.
We can:
- Verify whether your ITIN is active or expired
- Assist with renewals or new applications
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance
